Born in El Salvador and raised in the great state of New York, I was often asked to give directions in Spanish. Since I am not fluent in Spanish, but I am able to think and sketch maps quickly, I would be able to help people in spite of my bad accent and limited Spanish vocabulary. Many maps later, I found myself navigating the streets of Brooklyn where I received my BFA in communications design from Pratt Institute. Today my understanding and love of culture, creativity and strategy, make me a modern cartographer of communications.
